Dukes

The quarry is situated near Matlock in Derbyshire.

Dukes is a medium grained stone with variations of pink, lilac and purple veining throughout. The stone has been used throughout the UK since as early as 1825 where it was used to build Leicester Prison.

There is good reserves of this stone.
